Baguio "City of Pines" - Annivspecial

 November 28, 2012 It's official Jeb-belle 1st year Anniversary.

We've always wanted to go to baguio but because of our conflict schedule and busy days the planned always end up to Sige next time nalang....! Then finally on our 1st YEAR ANNIVERSARY.......

TIME CHECK :

After work, jeb and I meet up at Robinson's Galleria had dinner in sizzlin' papper steak then after that direct our way to bus station. And the worst thing happened again ( every time we had an out-of-town traveled its always HOLIDAY and because its holiday?.....dahhhhhhh crowded people everywhere!!!!) The next bus for victory liner is 11:00am for the next day?  oww gosh so we quickly find other way where we can travel at the early time, Then we find the DAGUPAN BUS TERMINAL wooo thanks God. We just wait for an hour before the bus came along going to baguio.

We leave Dagupan bus terminal around 1:00am and due to long hours of travel it still better if you schedule your travel at-night so you can sleep over while on the road. Since It's my first time and because of an excitement I cant sleep too much until an our before our arrival in baguio (though its still get a little dark that time) I finally I feel and experienced the zigzag way going to baguio kinda good trail right?

After 6 hours of travel finally arrived at BAGUIO CITY around 7:00 in the morning! wooo It's a morning breeeezzzzed in baguio.

Upon arrival at Dagupan Bus Terminal saw this "manong" selling their famous "STRAWBERRY TAHO"! yahoo....

Tadahhh.. My Strawberry taho!!!!! (pinky note CHECK!) next!!!!

NOTE : If you prepare to commute going to baguio better to book your tickets vice-versa manila-baguio and baguio-manila early time before your travel, so it wont waste your time by waiting a long line. (VICTORY LINER and DAGUPAN BUS ARE THE RECOMMENDED Terminal )

After booking our tickets back to manila, next is our first breakfast. . .

CAFE BY THE RUINS
I've always heard this famous Cafe by the Ruins in baguio you've never been said in baguio if you haven't try to have your breakfast here. That's why I also put this on my pinky note. (my pinky note is my pink little journal)

A Place of friendship and fresh food.

Had the best breakfast in baguio with the cool breeze and homey place perfect for our scrumpy tummy.

Next. . . .

The "Orchidarium" just dropping by while looking for our hotel.
You can see this land mark statue at burnham park .

As you walk along the park you can see many "manongs" selling "STRAWBERRY ICECREAM" - I've tasted the usual strawberry ice cream many times, but because I'm in baguio neven take a chance  to miss this! YEY!

The Convent of the Most Blessed Sacrament or Pink Sisters Convent

After our burnham park we ask the taxi driver to bring us to the pink sisters covenant, they say you must visit this place and make a wish.

Inside the pink sisters Covenant - I'ts quite peace and feel the ambiance of solemnity of the four sides, Upon entering saw this group of nuns wearing pink habit. (first time ko nakakita ng suot ng madre na kulay pink)
Jeb and I felt something while inside you'll know  what I'm telling when you've been there before or  you must visit too and feel like what we felt. (creepy....)
Outside the church - Thank you to the one who kindly approach us and ask that he will be the one to take us photo since It's only Jeb and I. Thank you kuya for this great shot!

My memorable picture at Pink Sisters Covenant

After the pink sisters covenant along the way you can walk and drop by to some famous baguio tourist spot :

"The Baguio's White House"
"The Baguio's Teachers Camp"
 And "Mines View Park"

With Big Dog" - you can take photos with this big dog for 3 shots P 50.00

My turn a bit scared because the horse is wagging
With "Horse" - A bit of advised : 1 shot of cam considered as P 10.00 we didn't know that, We thought is just  P10.00 only for taking pictures with the horse so we take so many shots after taking photos with the horse they asked to pay them P 100.00  Tsk Tsk Tsk. . .
The "Traditional Baguio Costume" -  You can wear this traditional baguio costume many shots and pose as you wanted for only  P 10.00

Take pictures as many as you can it's free to feel the beauty of baguio.

The famous mines view park.

Every time we had an out of town travel or heading some where, Jeb and I  always have space on our expenses list to buy T-shirt from the places where we've been.

Wala lang natuwa ako mag edit hahaha (watch out epic back ground)

END OF MINE'S VIEW next. . . .

Baguio City’s premier hotel, from the start we planned to visit baguio my first choice is to check in and stay here, I read the blog from ms. mae  (ULTIMATE FOOD BLOGGER) of when in manila, one of her article is about THE MANOR HOTEL in baguio since that I really wanted to go to baguio and stay here for a night with a romantic night. hihihi :)

Here's the article about The Manor Hotel at Camp John Hay in baguio

The very cozy and warmly place inside is "The Piano Bar".

Warm lights, smiling personnel, an extra spectacular wooden build lobby as you enter inside.

If you don't have time to go around and buy some "pasalubong" or anythings best in baguio you can drop here in this store is it  located inside the hotel side area of the lobby.

The sweets shop " Le Chef Bakeshop "

All cakes, cookies and pastries are look so good I like to eat them all... yummmy :)

Then head over the gardens at the back for some photos

"The perfect shot" - This is my favorite spot around the area so many means to say. aren't right?

The cold evening air coming up, Then held our dinner of course at the best steak in town the " Sizzling Plate Baguio" A bit funny coz upon my research the restaurant is located in session road.
